Chris has played a vital part in the development and settlement of several major insurance claims during the construction and commissioning phase of a $2bn power plant project, for which we were the EPC contractor. The claims arose from various technical issues: Chris provided clear and precise guidance on how best to formulate the claims in the context of the policy, together with the presentation format most likely to meet the expectations of the loss adjusters. Crucially, Chris’ long experience with the complete range of stakeholders in the insurance industry aided us in creating and implementing a pragmatic and effective strategy, and in deploying tactics to reach settlement.
